Himtrust Puma - B

Mastic (individual recipe by request) is designed for laying vibration-absorbing and noise-leveling layers on the train tracks sleepers.

Product description

Two-component system.
Component A is a homogeneous material of a certain color at the buyer's choice.
Component B-brown liquid.

Physical and mechanical parameters

Parameter Value
Tensile strength > 3 MPa
Elongation at break 120-140%
Shore a hardness 70-80
Metal adhesion >2 MPa
Thermostability -40 to +90 °C
A component viscosity at 25 °C 1000-2000 MPa•s
B component viscosity at 25 °C 200-300 MPa•s
A component density at 25 °C 1.05-1.15 g / cm3
B component density at 25 °C 1.2-1/25 g / cm3
Reaction start time after mixing A+B, at 20°C 10 min

Application

  1. Pour the contents of the container with component B into the container with component A. For partial application, ratio of the components should be A: B-100: 40 by weight. Use an electric or pneumatic agitator, 400 – 600 rpm. Mixing time is 2-5 minutes.
  2. If using an injection method, then fill the hole or the cavity (for example, between the sleeper and the formwork) with PUMA – V, or pour a leveling layer of the required thickness. Filling thickness should be at least 15 mm and a maximum of 60 mm.
  3. Solidification time is 72 hours.
  4. Clean the tools with organic solvents (acetone, xylene) once work is complete. Clean the tools from dried materials mechanically.

Health effects and precautions

Follow and observe safety regulations in accordance with SNiP III-4-80. Use personal protective equipment: a gas mask or protective mask, special clothing including gloves and shoes, covering all parts of the body.

Storage recommendations

Shelf life 6 months at temperatures no lower than + 10 and not higher than +30 °C in the closed original packaging.

Problem solution

Problem:
Presence of bubbles, cavities, untreated or brittle areas on the surface, and ingress of dirt particles during the filling.

Solution:

  1. Remove the defective area with a sander.
  2. Clean the base.
  3. Re-fill the PUMA-V layer.
