Preparation and processing
- Clean the dirt, remove corrosion products and scale from the surface.
- Clean the metal surface to reach a degree of 1 in accordance to GOST 9.402 or Sa 2.5 in accordance to ISO 8501-1; reach at least 60 microns of roughness degree Rz in accordance to GOST 25142 or ISO 8503-2.
- Clean the concrete surface with a sanding machine or abrasive treatment.
- Fully prime using Himtrust PM Primer (1K).
- The time between cleaning the surface and applying the coating should not exceed 2 hours at a relative humidity of 80%, and 3 hours when the air humidity is less than 80%. If the specified time is exceeded, the surface will be covered with condensate, which requires heating with gas burners or hot air blowing to be removed. The surface temperature should be higher than the dew point temperature by 3°C.
Recycling rules
- Mix the components in the container for 5 minutes.
- Use a high pressure with an excess of 160 atmospheres.
- Ratio A:B by volume: 100:100
- Spray the system at when component A has a temperature of 40-45°C, and component B of 45-50°C.
- Do not spray the system at an ambient temperature below 5°C.
The minimum layer thickness is 1 mm, the maximum is no more than 5 mm.
- Consumption per 1 m2 with a layer thickness of 2 mm is 2 kg.
- When applying the coating layer using "wet on wet" technique, do not exceed the time interval of 24 hours without mechanical sanding.
- Human/Pedestrian loads are allowed after 1 hour from the application time.
- Full operation is ready after 24 hours.
- Time to fully dry and harden is 7 days.
- For protection from the UV radiation, apply a layer of Himtrust PUMA-s (2K) mastic with a thickness of 0.3 mm.
Health effects and precautions
Follow the Occupational Safety in Construction (SNiP III-4-80) regulations. Use personal protective gear: a gas mask or protective mask, special clothing covering all areas of the body, gloves, and shoes.
Storage recommendations
Expiry date is up to 6 months at temperatures no lower than +10 and not higher than +30 in the original package in a dry environment.
