Himtrust Primer-PM (1K)

Designed for priming concrete surfaces prior to the application of protective polyurea coatings: Himtrust PM Standard, Himtrust PM Hard, Himtrust PM Premium, Himtrust PM Hard Premium, and Himtrust PM Hand-Applied 1K.

Curing time at 20 °С.

Not more than 30 minutes.

Average consumption per 1 square meter for a single-layer application 0.3 kg.

Note: Consumption figures are based on laboratory test results. Actual consumption depends on the condition, quality of surface preparation, geometry and type of substrate material, applicator skill level, and on-site conditions (wind speed, ambient and protected surface temperatures). Actual consumption may be 5 to 40 percent higher..

Himtrust Primer-PM is a liquid component of light brown color.

Surface requirements

Application surface should meet SNiP 3.04.01-87 requirements.
Air temperature should be in a range from +5 °C to +35 °C.
Humidity should not be higher than 4 %.
Surface temperature should be 3 °C above the dew point.

Surface preparation

Remove any dirt, corrosion products and scale from the surface.
Clean the metal surface until it reaches first degree in accordance with GOST 9.402 concrete surface with a sander or abrasive treatment.

Application

Mix Himtrust Primer-PM (1K) with a low-speed (no more than 200 rpm) mixer (drill with mixing nozzle) for 5 minutes.
Spread the primer evenly with a roller, brush, or airless spray on a surface with a thickness of 0.1-0.15 mm.
Clean the tools with toluene, xylene or solvent 646, once work is complete.
Curing time at 20 °C is 24 hours.

Observe safety regulations in accordance with SNiP III-4-80. Use personal protective equipment: a gas mask or protective mask, special clothing that covers all areas of the body, gloves, shoes.
