Preparation and processing
To ensure the reactivity and viscosity of the components before processing, the temperature of component A should be brought to +20°C — +25°C, component B +20°C — +25°C.
Stir the polyol component (component A) with an agitator for 10-15 minutes or roll the barrels horizontally for 20-30 minutes. The isocyanate component (component B) does not require stirring if it has been stored at or above +15°C. If the isocyanate component has been stored at temperatures below +15°C, slowly warm it up to a temperature no higher than +25°C. Then roll the barrel horizontally until homogeneous (homogeneous).
Processing rules
For high pressure machines:
- Ambient temperature 15-20 ° C. Flow heater temperature: component A 40-45°C, component B 45-55°C, hose temperature 35-45°C.
- Ambient temperature is 20-30°C. Temp. of flow-through heaters: component A 35-40°C, component B 40-45°C, temperature of hoses 30-35°C.
- Ambient temperature 30-40°C. Flow heater temperature: component A 30-35°C, component B 40-45°C, turn off the hose heating.
For low pressure machines:
- Ambient temperature is 15-20 ° C. Barrel with component A heated to 40-45 ° C, with component B — to 50-55 ° C. Hoses are not longer than 10 m and must be insulated.
- The ambient temperature is 20-40 ° C. The temperature of the component A is 30-40 ° C, component B — up to 40-50 ° C.
PU foam
- Pouring polyurethane foam in a closed space between the walls is done through special holes 12-14 mm in diameter, drilled in the outer or inner wall of the house.
- Filling holes are evenly distributed over the entire area of the wall in a staggered pattern with spacing of 50-100 cm from each other.
- First pour the foam through the holes located at the bottom level, then gradually proceed to the filling of the upper levels and so on to the top. The filling of the cavity is controlled by squeezing the foam out of the filling holes.
Health effects and precautions
Flammable liquid. Contains easily flammable compounds, keep away from sources of fire, sparks, do not smoke nearby. Causes irritation on skin. In case of contact with eyes, irreversible consequences. May contaminate objects in the environment.
When working with the system use insulating gas mask, gas mask BKF or B, goggles with side shields, impermeable gloves made of synthetic rubber, special clothes and shoes. Premises where work is carried out must be equipped with exhaust ventilation, workplaces — local suction and fire extinguishing means.
Storage recommendations
Store in a ventilated warehouse or under a roof at temperatures from −60 ° C to +30 ° C, away from heaters, fire sources and oxidizing agents.
Guaranteed storage life — 12 months from the date of production.
