Product Description

Himtrust AC-45 is an anti-adhesive composition made of wax, paraffins, and silicones in organic solvents.

Hygienic Characteristics

Adhesive lubricant Himtrust AC-45 causes irritation, dryness, and peeling when it comes into contact with the skin. When it comes into contact with the eyes, it causes irritation, redness, and tearing. Inhalation may irritate the mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract.

Preparation for Work

Before starting work:

  • Ensure the temperature of the lubricant is between +15°C and +25°C.
  • Mix the lubricant for 30 minutes using a blade mixer at a speed of 500-1000 rpm.

Safety Measures

The lubricant Himtrust AC-45 is a flammable and combustible liquid. There should be no sources of fire or sparks in the work area. The room should be equipped with exhaust ventilation and fire extinguishing equipment. Use personal protective equipment: special clothing, gloves, footwear, and protective goggles.

If the lubricant Himtrust AC-45 comes into contact with exposed skin, it should be wiped off with a cloth and washed with warm soapy water. In case of skin reactions, seek medical attention. If it comes into contact with the eyes, immediately rinse them with a large amount of running water for 5–10 minutes, then seek medical attention.

Rules for Processing/Application

  1. Clean the mold from traces of previous pours: residues of stuck polyurethane foam, oil, previous lubricants, etc. Degrease with a solvent.
  2. Heat the mold to a temperature of 25°C.
  3. Apply the anti-adhesive lubricant with a brush or roller.
  4. Wait for the solvent to evaporate, then apply a second layer.
  5. Pour the mixture of components into the mold.
  6. Allow the product to set in the mold for the necessary time.
  7. Remove the finished product, if necessary, degrease and polish it.

Transportation and Storage Conditions

The components of the polyurethane system are transported by all means of transportation in closed vehicles, following the cargo transportation rules applicable to each mode of transport, ensuring the integrity of the packaging and its secure fixation to prevent damage and leaks.

Store the components in closed warehouse premises in the original sealed packaging, preventing moisture ingress.

Storage temperature: from -60°C to +30°C.

Shelf life when recommended conditions are met: 12 months.

During storage, the lubricant's viscosity may increase. Dilution with a solvent, such as mineral spirits, is allowed, not exceeding 5% of the remaining volume.

After the expiration of the shelf life, the anti-adhesive lubricant should be tested for compliance with technical specifications and, if found suitable, can still be used as intended.

Impact on Health and Precautions

The lubricant contains easily flammable solvents; it should be kept away from sources of fire and sparks, and smoking should not be allowed nearby.

When working with it, use special clothing and personal protective equipment. Rooms where work with Himtrust AC lubricant is carried out should be equipped with exhaust ventilation, workstations should have local exhaust systems, and fire-fighting equipment should be readily available.

In terms of its impact on the human body, it belongs to Hazard Class 3.

Storage Recommendations

The guaranteed shelf life is 6 months when stored in enclosed warehouse premises at temperatures ranging from -50°C to +40°C. Storage of the product under shelter or on a leveled platform protected from atmospheric precipitation, contaminants, and mechanical damage is allowed.

Defects Remediation Methods

Problem: Adhesion of polyurethane foam product to the mold

Solution:

  1. Clean the mold with a spatula.
  2. Reapply the adhesive lubricant.
  3. Pour the product again.
